Synthesis of Carbon from Yellowfin Tuna Fishbone to Remove Iron (Fe) Metal in Well Water from Bandar Setia

Abstract The performance of tuna fishbone waste as carbon to remove iron (Fe) metal from well water was studied. parameters synthesis were set by varying the carbonization temperature 300, 400, and 500°C. Fishbone characterized using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM-EDX), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), SSA (nitrogen adsorption). BET (BJH) analysis showed that increase in surface area pore size proportional temperature. used a filtration medium reduce high levels water.
